Paglalayag habang Naggagala ang Hilaga

Paano nagala ang hilaga? Kumuha lang ng kompas. Hindi na mahalaga kung saan nakatingin. Nakaturo ang karayom sa silangan. Bigla, gagalaw ito at tuturo sa timog. At pagkatapos ng ilang sandali, gagalaw uli ang karayom at tuturo sa hilagang-kanluran. At pagkatapos noon, iikot ang karayom ng walang tigil. Iikot lang nang iikot. Walang kuwentang kompas.
